One of the problems you’ll encounter at the end of the trail is completing the Hands-On exercise. In the final project – Connect Data Cloud to Agentforce and Prompt Builder, step 2: Bring External Data into the Contact Page Layout you might encounter an issue where you can’t Set up a Identity Resolution Ruleset and get the following error.
(1) In order to create the Ruleset you need to select the Individual DMO but nothing is in the dropdown.
(2) Salesforce shows you the following error.
(1) When you go to the Data Model.
(2) You can see they are all still processing, especially the Individual DMO which is the DMO you need to select above.
Now you can wait but it doesn’t seem to fix the problem even 3-4 days later.
Thankfully there’s a fix provided by the Trailhead team:
Step I: Disconnect the existing org so that you can create a new one. Navigate to your org organizer: https://trailhead.salesforce.com/users/profiles/orgs
Step II: Create a new playground
Step III: Disconnect the epic…@orgfarm.th org
(1) A new org will be created when you create a playground.
(2) More importantly that step will allow you to disconnect the existing @orgfarm.th org that’s tied to your Agentforce trail exercise.
Click Disconnect here.
You should see a green popup message.
Step IV: Create a new playground in the Agentforce challenge.
(1) Navigate back to the training: Navigate back to the training. https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/projects/connect-data-cloud-to-copilot-and-prompt-builder/bring-external-data-into-the-contact-page-layout?trail_id=become-an-agentblazer-champion
(2) Create a new playground.
Step V: Follow the steps in the exercise and wait
Just like in the original org the data streams will show Success in the Last Run Status.
And eventually, it might take a few hours, but the DMOs will be ready to use and you’ll be able to create the Identity Resolution to complete the step and before you know it!
